Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore still have one installment left to pay for the team. They currently own 40% of the team and have the option to buy another 40% by 2023. But if they do not make the payment, they will be kept as minority owners. According to the New York Post?s David Scott, ?If they miss any payments, Taylor has the right to nullify their deal and retain them as minority owners.?
