Per an old roaming on YouTube, NBA great Michael Jordan and MLB icon Derek Jeter sat with the likes of Serena Williams, Warren Sapp, and Roy Jones Jr. for an interview. During the last minutes of the interview, Jordan could not control but praise Jeter for being a remarkable team player.

While praising Jeter, Jordan went down memory lane and remembered his iconic play during the 2001 ALDS Game 3. Jordan credited Jeter for making a better team.

“Derek! Derek is a consummate pro. I mean he can compliment anybody on the field. He is always thinking about the little things,” Jordan said

“When you watch him in the Yankees when he made that play at the home plate [during the 2001 ALDS series against the Oakland Athletics], a lot of guys would not do that. And now he has made his team that much better.”

Notably, Jeter had made an incredible flip at the shortstop position to grab the ball and pass it to Jorge Posada to dismiss Jeremy Giambi. This remarkable play by Jeter changed the course of the entire series, And the Yankees won the series by 3-2 against the Athletics.
