Opening day of Major League Baseball came and went with a swift of air. As every baseball fan eagerly anticipated the game being back on after months of no-shows, the New York Yankees indeed made it a good one. They did so by winning over the San Francisco Giants with a significant margin of 5-0. During this time, the Yankees captain Aaron Judge won hearts by hitting a home run to help his team win and also with a heartwarming gesture that easily melted the Yankees’ fanbase. 

New York Knicks star Julius Randle’s wife, Kendra Shaw, recently shared a picture of the gifts for the two times all-star player and their son, Kyden, to celebrate the opening day. Shortly after that, Talkin Yanks posted that picture on their official Twitter handle, and within seconds it went viral, all while melting the hearts of many. 

What did Aaron Judge gift the Knicks star?

From one New Yorker to another, All Rise Aaron Judge gifted Randle and his son a couple of signed jerseys with a personal message to celebrate the opening day. As soon as the fans saw the adorable gesture by Judge for the Knicks’ power forward after his injury, they started admiring him for such a class act. However, there was one other thing that the fans noticed. Which they did not like, and they put their emotions forward without any filter.

The name on the back isn’t authentic!

For those unversed, the New York Yankees were the only team that does not have players’ names on the back of their jerseys. Therefore, besides being happy that Judge did what he did, fans also think that Judge should have sent Randle the authentic ones.

What happened to the Knicks star?

Ahead of the MLB opening day, the New York Knicks announced that their forward position player, Julius Randle, will be out of the game for at least two weeks because of a left ankle sprain. His injury will be assessed after two weeks. And then, a decision will take place on how long Randle needs to be out of the game.
