New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge is on a roll. He has been treating fans to one stellar performance after another on the West Coast. After a stunning grab in the Yankees vs Seattle Mariners game, Judge proceeded to make yet another outstanding catch at Dodger Stadium. Standing in the second position on the home run chart, All-Rise seems determined to have a streak of success.

While he had to sit out the series finale vs the Dodgers on Sunday because of a minor toe injury, Judge thinks things are looking good. While in LA, he also spent some time with the rival team’s Mookie Betts in a fun interview. From hitting techniques to bagel toppings, the duo discussed everything. Being sportsmen, one topic of discussion was, of course, other sports, one of them being basketball. And as the NBA world enjoys its finals, Judge has chosen a side to support.

The Miami Heat have been rallying to win this season and this latest victory against the Denver Nuggets has fans upset. The team just leveled the NBA Finals on Sunday after the Nuggets blew a 16-point lead. Before that happened though, both Judge and Betts seemed to be rooting for Denver.

In an interview for Bleacher Report, Betts mentioned the ongoing buzz in the basketball world and which players Judge felt confident about. Asking about Jimmy Butler, the Dodgers’ outfielder asked Judge if he thought Butler would win his first ring this season. “I’m a fan of Jimmy, you know what he’s done the past couple seasons – his whole career basically. He’s such a great competitor, he brings it every single night, he elevates his teammates,” the Yankees captain said after some deliberation.

“But, seeing what I see in Denver, the Joker, you know, Jamal Murray, Porter Jr…there’s too many options,” he finished. Betts agreed, saying that the Heat probably won’t be able to keep up. This discussion took place a few days ago of course, and the situation has changed a bit since then. Let’s see how the rest of the games pan out and whether Betts and Judge were right. In the meanwhile, the Yankees’ outfielder is receiving treatment for his toe.

All-Rise already served a short IL stint earlier in the season but he has more than made up for missed time. His latest catch was terrific because he banged into the bullpen gate at Dodger Stadium but still managed to keep the ball. However impressive the move though, there could have been a chance of serious injury. But both Judge and team manager Aaron Boone think it’s nothing major. While the latter has ruled out any possibility of being on the injured list, the team will continue to monitor the situation.
