The reigning AL MVP, Aaron Judge, had one of the most exciting off-seasons this year. He became a free agent after the World Series ended and courted offers from various teams before returning to the Bronx. Not only did he decide to come back to the Yankees, but shortly after, he got honored with the title of New York Yankees’ sixteenth captain. Having already won numerous accolades in his seven years wearing the pinstripes, his iconic style is just one other thing that can get the fans to go gaga over him.

Being as iconic as he is, inspiration for his style came from the legends of baseball and other games. Earlier last year, All Rise went sneaker shopping with a Complex.com representative. While talking about baseball, he did not just take Bonds’ name but also of his former teammate, Richard Aurilia. About Bonds, he said, “He made the game look easy. I understand now the game ain’t that easy but he was one guy that had a lot of swagger, he had it all. So it was just a couple of guys I really looked up to and really idolized their game.

Learning from Bonds was not just about his style. But it was also about what the Bonds made the game look like. However, the Giants’ icon played the game, and he made youngsters feel that anyone could do it. Although it definitely was not that easy, he did make sure people loved it.
