ESPN recently trolled Derek Jeter on a social media handle with a Michael Jordan meme. The meme involved a famous dialogue by Jordan. They mixed it with Jeter’s comments on former teammate Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez’s betrayal. The result, as one can guess, was hilarious.

Similarly, Derek Jeter and Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez are former legends of baseball. All three of them are stalwarts in their respective sports and playing positions. In the newly released biopic docuseries on Derek Jeter, he has revealed many highs and lows of his career that were previously unknown. One segment of the docuseries has an excerpt on former teammate Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez. The two were close allies until some personal comments by ‘A-Rod’ bothered Jeter. Their friendship was never the same again.?

Since Derek Jeter felt deeply hurt and betrayed by Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez, Jeter now lives on with a ‘forgive but never forget’ motto. Jeter admitted to having no grudge feelings towards ‘A-Rod’ in a recent?interview. But he also addressed the issue in his docuseries ‘The Captain’. He mentioned how he could never forget those words from ‘A-Rod’.??

Speaking on the comments by ‘A-Rod’ in the docuseries, Derek Jeter said, ?If someone doubts me, OK, I hear you. But now I?m gonna turn that off, because I don?t want to think about it. I didn?t talk about it. Didn?t tell people about it. But I have a list in my head of people who doubted. I remember exactly what you said when you said it, and what you were wearing when you said it.??
