Michael Jordan is a retired iconic basketball player. Jordan is one of the greatest players to have ever played the sport. Similarly, Derek Jeter and Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez are former legends of baseball. All three of them are stalwarts in their respective sports and playing positions. They all achieved immense success in their playing careers.

Derek Jeter and Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez were teammates during their playing days in the New York Yankees. They both famously won the 2009 MLB edition of the World Series title together. The champion duo seemed more like a pair of brothers rather than mere teammates. But the close friendship wasn’t everlasting, as ‘A-Rod’ once made some hurtful comments about Derek Jeter.?

In the newly released biopic docuseries on Derek Jeter, he has revealed many highs and lows of his career that were previously unknown. One segment of the docuseries has an excerpt on former teammate Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez. The two were close allies until some personal comments by ‘A-Rod’ bothered Jeter. Their friendship was never the same again.?
