The Wolves are now set to go against one of the most famous and strongest teams in the NBA, the LA Lakers. Moments before that, the former Yankee won the hearts of the young fans with an adorable gesture.?

After retiring from the big league, business magnate Alex Rodriguez tried to buy MLB’s New York Mets. Shortly after his Mets’ deal failed, A-Rod went ahead and bought the NBA’s Timberwolves and WNBA’s Lynx. Since then, Rodriguez has been a devoted owner, supporting his team through every phase. After A-Rod took ownership with billionaire Marc Lore in the 2021-22 season, the Timberwolves entered the playoffs for the first time since the 2018-19 season.?

During his lengthy career in MLB, despite making some of the biggest mistakes, A-Rod remained one of the best ever to step foot on the diamond. Hence, he remained popular throughout his baseball career, and his fame only increased after retirement. It was courtesy of his business acumen and the experience he gained as an athlete.?

And now, before the Timberwolves’ big game against the Lakers later tonight, the former World Series Champ spent some time with the young fans of the Timberwolves. While doing so, he gifted them the jerseys of the Timberwolves’ young player, Karl-Anthony Towns. A-Rod posted a small video of him spending time with the kids on his Instagram. With the video, he wrote, “All eyes on LA now ?” as the caption.?

Needless to say, soon as he posted the video, fans started complimenting him for his gesture. And among those fans were the basketball fans showing full support for their team.?

The last time when the Timberwolves went against the Lakers, they lost the game by 12 points. Hence, today’s game will be watched with even more anticipation, keeping Timberwolves fans on the edge of their seats.?

Fans on Instagram congratulated A-Rod for this incredible gesture with the kids, saying,?”Excellent gesture from the great Alex Rodriguez, blessings compatriot.”, “MAN OF THE PEOPLE MINNESOTA MAN”, and “Loved and adored.”

While there are a few who think the game should be even better if there were a couple of players on the team.
