In the Los Angeles Lakers vs Oklahoma City Thunder game on February 7, the highly anticipated moment finally came to fruition, as NBA superstar LeBron James made history. James walked past the previous record holder Kareem Abdul-Jabbar by recording 38 points in the game and touching an all-time NBA high at 38,388 points. Following this massive feat, a rare picture of King James with two American sports greats resurfaced.
After King James surfaced as the new all-time leading scorer in NBA history, a Derek Jeter fan page dubbed RE2PECT 2 JETER uploaded an image of the four-time NBA champion in a New York Yankees cap.

In a continued thread, the fan page captioned the picture of the three legends saying, “I feel so privileged being able to witness these all time greats!”
In terms of the number of championships they’ve won, LeBron James has won four NBA Championships – two with the Miami Heat, and one each with Cleveland and the Lakers. Jeter, on the other hand, won five World Championships – all with the New York Yankees. Finally, Peyton Manning won two Super Bowls in his NFL career, one with Indianapolis Colts and one with the Denver Broncos.
If Jeter had to weigh in his opinion on the GOAT debate, what would he say?

Derek Jeter, while being someone who’s always been the most diplomatic person in the room, may have his bias in this question. Jeter and Jordan spent long hours together as their careers grew. In fact, Captain Clutch also grew to look up to GOAT MJ as his older brother, who stood as an inspiration all through Jeter’s MLB career.
As per what the diplomatic clutch specialist would say, he would probably walk far, far away from a question with such high volatility. But one can try and predict his inclination.
Where do you stand on the entire GOAT debate? King James or GOAT MJ? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
