Opening Day is almost here and baseball fans are gearing up to watch their favorite players take the field. After his last season’s heroics, Aaron Judge has been one of the most talked about players in the league. Not only did he break the AL single-season record for most home runs, but also made Yankees history. All-Rise is now the 16th captain of the team. Signing a nine-year, $360 million deal, Judge broke yet another record – it was the biggest free agent deal in league history.
But according to some recent news, the 30-year-old may have another contract in the works. Judge has had a tradition of showing up to practice in a new pair of kicks every once in a while and is a big sneaker fan. While there has been no confirmed news yet, the outfielder may have inked a deal with a famous brand that is also associated with the NBA phenom Luka Doncic.

Does Aaron Judge have a new deal with Nike?
As March comes to an end, Judge and the rest of his team have been getting in some practice with the Grapefruit League. But spring training is almost over and the Bronx Bombers will face the San Francisco Giants on Opening Day. Safe to say, everyone is looking forward to it, especially Judge.
A few days ago, he posted a picture of himself in uniform, standing at the edge of a field. The caption read, “Counting down the days!” with a side-eye emoji. But what some fans focused on was his shoes – black and white, the ‘Reverse Orca’ color of the Jordan Luka 1. The shoes are by Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic, who is a Slovenian NBA player.

Judge has also sported the Jordan brand before, but much to fans’ chagrin, there has been no confirmation of any deals yet. The Yankees captain is an avid sneaker enthusiast, so he probably wouldn’t have a problem promoting a brand if he becomes an official rep.
Are the Jordan Luka 1’s worth it?
If Judge is wearing them, they probably have some merit. For technical details, they feature Flightwire cables for containment and Formula 23 foam for impact protection. If one were to play basketball in them, the rubber outsole would easily enable a change of direction on the hardwood floor.
