In a Tweet, they said, “This is the first time since August 23, 1992, that the Yankees have been tied for last place this late in a season. They have not been in sole possession of last place this late in a season since 1990 when they finished in last (via @ktsharp)”. This is a massive record that the team is now matching, and not in a good way. 

Furthermore, Judge’s return does not seem to have a definitive date. It has been more than a month since he went on the injured list, and the situation is now dire. Let’s look at what fans say about the record and the latest loss.
