Giancarlo Stanton was put on the 10-day injured list for a left hamstring strain he suffered during a recent game. Most recently, New York Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone shared an update on the injury. He said that Stanton should be back in approximately six weeks. This is one of many injuries that has plagued the outfielder’s career, going back to his days in Miami. In a Tweet, they said, “Aaron Boone on Giancarlo Stanton’s IL status: ‘We’re hoping we get him back in six weeks.’” Stanton has been batting very well for the Yankees this season with his power-hitting. But this injury will keep him out for 6 weeks at the minimum.
