Through a deeply personal and emotional Instagram tribute, she shared the real, unfiltered moments—the fears, the strength, and the love that come with bringing new life into the world. She shared a carousel of intimate videos from each of her children’s births through the water way. It was raw, unfiltered, and showed moments from the birth to her embracing each of her babies—Kalina Zoé, Amapola Chloé, and now Koa.

Her caption in the post was just as powerful: “The three moments my life turned to color. Becoming a mother has brought light and depth to my world like nothing else ever could. Each of my babies added a new shade—joy, chaos, softness, strength. Motherhood isn’t easy, but it’s the most vibrant thing I’ve ever known. Happy Mother’s Day to every woman painting the world with love.” Her words didn’t just celebrate being a mom; they captured the powerful, sometimes messy truth that motherhood isn’t easy—but it’s one of the most beautiful journeys imaginable.
Fans were quick to flood her comments with love, praising her openness and her strength. Later, she also posted a story of herself spending time with her children. In one of the pictures, Katie can be seen with a blurred note. Behind that note was a picture of her and flowers gifted by her love, Francisco Lindor. And this is not the first time he has made his love for his family known. From walking up to ‘My Girl’ at Citi Field to letting his daughters crash a press conference, the Lindors have always worn their hearts on their sleeves.
Plus, now fans are hoping that Koa Amani’s birth brings Francisco the same good luck his daughters did. He homered in his first at-bat following Amapola Chloé’s birth in 2023.
Francisco Lindor comes clean about feeling dad guilt
Lindor may be vibing with new walk-up music, but behind his million-dollar smile is the weight of something deeper—dad guilt. During Friday’s 7-2 win over the Cubs, Lindor surprised fans by swapping his iconic ‘My Girl’ anthem with a fresh new tune. The 1967 Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell classic, ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.’ “It’s the vibes — the vibes I’m in right now,” the star said post-game. The real reason for this change later, too. But those vibes, he says, also come with an emotional undercurrent.

In a recent episode of The Un-a-Parent Podcast, hosted by his wife Katia Lindor, the Mets star opened up about the difficulties of being a professional player while also being a dad. He dislikes leaving children behind during road trips. “It gets the older they get, it gets a little bit harder for us, the dads. And it’s because they can talk and they say, no, don’t go. They give you the look of like, ‘you’re leaving again? No,’” said Lindor. Though being away was always tough, Lindor said that now, with his children starting to speak, it’s even more difficult.
“That’s when it gets a little, a little harder when they are like baby, baby, you feel for them and you want to be there for them. But it’s not, it doesn’t hurt as much as when they’re telling you, ‘Why do you have to leave?’” Katia too chimed in, saying that, “It’s the dad guilt — and the partner guilt.” Well, in baseball, things always look so glamorous, but at the end of the day, things other than highlight reels matter.
