At one point, the hosts asked him about his routine when he went to the Ballpark. The 14x All-Star laughed and replied, “Yeah, I went to sleep.” Bursting into laughter, he continued, “Any player that played with me, any team, they’ll all tell you. What did Barry do at the ballpark? He went to the gym, he went to sleep. If you want to know my routine, I was asleep most of the time at the clubhouse.” This is indeed a unique response from a player who used to be the most fierce hitter of his time.
