Most recently, the Yankees’ captain revealed his secret to staying focused after coming back during a post-game interview. He says that a lot of things help him stay focused. But being in a lineup with Anthony Rizzo behind him in the batting order helps. Furthermore, the most important thing is to hit the balls that come your way. During the interview, Judge said, “A lot of different things, but uh, I think just being in this lineup. Like I’ve been saying all year, when you got Anthony Rizzo hitting behind you, whose been red hot as well. You’re getting good pitches in the zone, and most important thing is just don’t miss it.”

This is a somewhat simple approach, but it seems to be working for Judge. The Yankees have been in fantastic form since his return. In the 11 games since the star outfielder came back, the Bombers have won 8 and lost 3. Furthermore, their captain has also been batting very well.

Since coming back from his hip injury, Aaron Judge has been in great form. But during the Bronx Bombers’ last 7 games, he has been particularly lethal, hitting 7 home runs.
