Los Angeles Dodgers are well-represented at the All-Star game. With 5 selections, the Dave Roberts-led side is one of the best-represented teams. This includes their top stars Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman, who have led the team from the front. The two stars were involved in an extremely adorable moment as Shohei Ohtani induced deafening chants from division rival fans.
Freeman and Betts enjoyed their time on the field together during the Midsummer Classic. This was despite Ohtani setting the MLB day on fire. Few could beat the two-way star in terms of popularity. But the Dodgers’ All-Stars enjoyed an adorable moment together.

It is plain to see that Dodgers stars Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman enjoy great chemistry. The two have forged a close bond as teammates. Most recently, they shared an adorable moment during the All-Star game as Seattle Mariners fans tried to recruit Shohei Ohtani who was up to bat. Freeman and Betts exchanged some nice words with each other over an earpiece during the game. They said hi to each other, using nicknames before Freeman said he liked Betts in the outfield. Baseball infielder Mike Daddino shared a video of the incident on Twitter.

In the video, Betts says “Hi Fredder”, to which Freeman replies, “Hi Mook”. Following this, the star infielder said, “I like you in the outfield”, to which Betts replied, “I know you do”. This was a truly special moment as the Seattle crowd was focused on yelling, “Come to Seattle” at Ohtani.

The two stars have provided the Dodgers with solid batting in their 1-2 spots in the lineup. Betts leads off with Freeman coming in behind him to provide them with top-level hitting. This has provided them with many early runs and helped them win games.
The Dodgers might be a top destination for Ohtani
Despite Mariners’ fans shouting for Shohei Ohtani to join them, the Dodgers seem like a more plausible option. Not only are they a big-market team, but they also have a top roster that is competing right now. Furthermore, Ohtani would not have to leave Los Angeles. The Dodgers are among the candidates for his signature and at one point even seemed like favorites. It will be interesting to see where he ends up as his impending free agency is a hot topic.
