Mookie Betts may be scared of ghosts, but the man is fierce when it comes to baseball. After delivering a game-tying sacrifice fly in Game 1, Betts followed it up with two hits and a run on Saturday. It was only a few weeks back that many dragged Betts down for his failure to step up on the clutch. But well, he sailed through those times, and here he is now!
Mookie overcame the rough patch by spending more time with his family and also doing what many parents ask their kids to do—stay away from the phone! He took a break from social media and distanced himself from the online critics. And, when the Dodgers clinched the 4-2 win over their East Coast rivals in Game 2, he celebrated the win with his family. And the cutest video is going viral online!
