The book, Sho-Time: The Inside Story of Shohei Ohtani recorded that during the Spring, when the regular baseball series was going on between The Los Angeles Angels and the Chicago White Sox, Ohtani made history. Against the White Sox, the Angeles, young baseball star pitched and hit during their first game. However, things took a turn during the second game.

The Author registered it on page number 147, “His first pitch was a 98.2-mph fastball, and he had cranked a pitch up to 100.6 mph before the inning was over.” This performance only increased as the innings ended. The book said, “In the bottom of the inning, Ohtani stepped to the plate and interrupted the quiet murmur of a sparsely filled ballpark with a loud blast. He hammered a Dylan Cease fastball 451 feet, a no-doubt homer into the seats beyond the right field fence. The ball left his bat at 115.2 mph.” The gap between these two events was fifteen minutes. This has made Ohtani achieve the first two-way milestone that none had achieved before him. He did it in the first inning of his first start.
