The position for which the Yankees legend Derek Jeter once got famous, he was not the best at it from the start. In fact, just by looking at the errors, he made at that time, people have said that Jeter will not make it as a shortstop. Jeter made 56 errors on a SAL record and then turned it all around for himself.

After committing 56 errors, and getting called by almost everybody to change the position, if he wanted to stay in the game, the captain changed it all around.
For all the 20 seasons that Jeter played in Major League Baseball, he played as a member of the New York Yankees. Not only did he spread his charm among the fans, but he also took his team to another level. With Jeter, the New York Yankees have won five World Series, 2009’s championship to be the team’s last. Out of many special days of Jeter’s career, 25th Sep would be the most memorable, not only for Jeter but for every person who ever watched him play.
What was so special about September 25 for Derek Jeter?
Eight years ago, on September 25, 2014, marked the day when the Yankees legend Derek Jeter wore the Pinstripes for the last time. He gave the fans a magical ending in his last game and also took the team to a win for the last time.

The whole career of Jeter, he spent as a shortstop made some mistakes or even many, but every moment of his career was magical, not only his last game.
Yankees were at 6, Orioles at 5 in his last game, and at his last at-bat, Jeter hit a walk-off single and gave his team a win. As soon as he hit that ball, a celebration had already started on the field, and a sound erupted from the stands that Jeter still misses to this day.
How did fans remember the iconic day of the last game of Jeter?
