Each of these stars found a home elsewhere, turning what could have been a dream roster into, frankly, a heartache parade for Giants fans.

I’ve been dishing out a healthy dose of skepticism about the Giants’ offseason, but The Athletic took a more optimistic route. They handed out a B- grade to the SF Giants. Prediction? The Giants, who’ve been on the hunt for free-agent hotshots like pitchers Blake Snell and Jordan Montgomery, and infielders Rhys Hoskins, Cody Bellinger, and Matt Chapman, are expected to land at least one, maybe even two of these names.
