Given that the public has objected to the $380 million fund approval to the A’s, the amount can create a big hurdle for the expansion plans. However, the support for the project has been great.
According to Bleacher Report, players have supported Nashville with 69 percent votes in favor of the public. The majority wants a new team in Nashville, which also goes in sync with Manfred’s long-cherished dream. But Manfred has stated, “Expansion cannot proceed until the Oakland A’s and Tampa Bay Rays resolve their stadium negotiations.”
