Most recently, he announced that a top DJ will be performing at a massive event he is hosting.
Jeter is hosting the Derek Jeter Invitational event at Baha Mar Resorts for the second year running. He earlier announced that Grammy-nominated artist Busta Rhymes will perform at the Gala. But a top DJ will also perform at the event.

Derek Jeter is hosting his Invitational event at the Baha Mar resort this year from 11th-13th May. Last year, it raised more than 1 million for the Turn 2 Foundation. Top celebrities will be attending and even performing. Most recently, he announced that top DJ D-Nice will be performing at the event’s Welcome Party. Jeter announced this in an Instagram Story in which he shared a post by the Turn 2 Foundation as well.

The event is a massive occasion that Jeter hosts to raise funds for the Turn 2 Foundation. It includes a Welcome Party, a Gala, and the main attraction, a golf tournament, among other facilities. It is a huge draw for people as they get to have a great time and contribute directly to a great cause.

D-Nice rose to prominence during the pandemic for his DJ sets on Instagram Live, giving people a place to escape to while stuck at home. He is one of a handful of top artists and entertainers set to perform at the event. Jeter is always directly involved with these events but puts a lot of trust in his family, especially his sister.

Derek Jeter’s sister Sharlee Jeter is the President of the Turn 2 Foundation. She took up the role in 2010 and has since helped raise it to where it is today. Sharlee has helped expand the Foundation, allowing for better fundraising and execution of large-scale events. Furthermore, she has helped steer it in the direction that her brother envisioned when he started it and provided help to thousands of kids, turning them away from alcohol and drugs and toward a brighter future.
