As the 2022 Spring Training has begun, the key question lies about the free agents who have not been signed yet. And there are big names who have been left on the board. After facing the longest lockout in MLB history, the players are eager to get on the field and play some ball.

MLB Free Agency: Carlos Correa (Shortstop)

27-year-old Carlos Correa became a free agent for the first time in his career after the MLB 2021 season ended. Correa’s journey with the Houston Astros began in 2012 as the Astros drafted him as the No 1 overall pick. There is a huge possibility that the Astros will have one last go at Correa, but Correa has already listed his $1.6 M house in Houston after becoming a free agent. Only time will tell.

Kenley Jansen (Closer)

Michael Conforto (Right Fielder)

Michael Conforto became a free agent after playing for the New York Mets till the 2021 season end. Many teams have been monitoring Conforto before the lockout. However, he rejected the qualifying offer by the Mets, which attracted the Marlins and the Diamondbacks to him.
