Seems like MLB players are making the most out of the ongoing offseason in the league. While the superstar free agents are getting big cheques from their new employers, a few are busy spending this time with their loved ones.

And when talking about free agents, the former Braves shortstop, instead of getting a new contract, decided to have his personal life settled first. Yes! Free agent shortstop Dansby Swanson recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Mallory Pugh. Notably, just like Swanson, Pugh is also a professional athlete. On the other hand, having been playing for the USWNT, Pugh also led her team to win FIFA 2019.

How did Swanson play this season?

Swanson got named to the All-Star roster this year as a reserve and became the only player of Major League Baseball to play all 162 games in 2022. Not only this, but he also hit his career’s 100th home run while playing against the New York Mets.

In addition to all this, the shortstop won his first-ever Golden Glove as the season concluded. Therefore, baseball fans focusing more on Swanson’s free agency does not come as a surprise.
