Be it on the mound or off of it, Chicago Cubs’ ace Marcus Stroman is making the most of his $71 million salary. Notably, the higher the salary is for an MLB player, the more perks baseball players get. And Stroman, with his lavish lifestyle, is the perfect example of the same. Hence, Stroman does not let a moment go by without showing off his iconic purchases. One of which he recently did by giving a glimpse of his $240,000 beast.

When the country celebrated its 247th Independence Day, besides celebrating the day with his family, the Cubs ace showed over half a million fans of his customized beast.

Marcus Stroman is enjoying it all!

Before the 2022 season, the 2x All-Star signed a three-year contract with the Cubs for a total of $71 million. While the thirty-two-year-old is an avid fan of luxurious wristwatches, his fondness for the four-wheeler speed beasts is no less.

Hence, last year, the Cubs ace got his $240,000 beast, the 2022 Bentley. Built with the sole purpose of providing top-notch speed while maintaining the luxury and comfort of the brand, the pitcher got it customized from the inside out from Stars in the Ceiling. And as on the occasion of the fourth of July, the said enterprise put on a sale for their customers while showing off one of their precious works. Once again, without letting a moment go by, Stroman posted the picture of his exotic automobile on his Instagram story

With over 107 innings pitched until now and a total of 92 strikeouts, the Cubs’ ace is putting up a strong performance on the mound. However, he’s been in the news for another reason as well.

Stroman v/s Mets: a saga for MLB history?

In the middle of MLB’s 2019 season, Toronto Blue Jays traded Stroman to the New York Mets. There, the ace stayed till 2021. Then, despite having a great 2021 season, the NL franchise did not re-sign the player. Followed by which Marcus was notably upset, and his bond with the Mets continued to get worse.

Moreover, the pitcher hasn’t kept his feelings toward himself. And now and then, his comments on the Mets show that there’s still illness between the two. Most recently, Stroman took a shot at Mets’ legend Keith Hernandez by allegedly calling him a dinosaur for not giving up his retired jersey number if and when LA Angels’ phenom Shohei Ohtani signs with them. Which then brought heavy criticism on Stroman, but he didn’t let any of it affect him.
