Stars are aligning for baseball shortstop Cole Tucker and his fiancee Vanessa Hudgens. Earlier this year, Cole and Vanessa announced their engagement, garnering millions of blessings. And now, as the couple moves forward and plans their wedding, Minor League Baseball has stepped up and brought back Hudgens’ High School Musical classic to celebrate the Rockies shortstop stealing the show. Ironically, the moment happened twice, but for different teams.

Last night, the triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, the Albuquerque Isotopes, went against the Seattle Mariners’ Triple-A, Tacoma Rainiers. Isotopes’ shortstop, Cole Tucker, stole the show and became the highlight of the game. But as it happened, Major League Baseball could not help but link Tucker stealing the show with his fiancee’s iconic song from High School Musical

When the entire world was going through the chaos brought on by Covid-19, a Zoom meditation class worked as the cupid for Vanessa and Cole. Without even talking much, the baseball player mesmerized the Hollywood diva. After the Zoom call, she couldn’t help herself but slide into his Instagram DM. And that was the start of their beautiful relationship in 2020. Since then, the couple has been spotted together on multiple occasions. And they made their relationship official on Valentine’s Day, 2021. After being in an official relationship with Hudgens, Tucker got teased by Vanessa’s iconic song, Breaking Free in a game.

Back then, Cole played for the MLB franchise Pittsburgh Pirates and had just scored a home run. It made the Pirates celebrate him with the lyrics of Breaking Free. Two years later, the same thing happened. But instead of scoring a home run, Cole Tucker stole the home run for the Albuquerque Isotopes. And hence, to celebrate this moment, the official Instagram handle of MiLB posted the video and captioned it, “Cole Tucker is soarin’, flyin’…The Rockies outfielder is hyped after robbing a home run for Albuquerque!” Vanessa had a different reaction to all this.

Without missing a beat, the actress simply said that things are so hectic that she wants to run away. And she wants to get married somewhere scarce instead of planning a big wedding.
