An adorable father-son bonding – that’s what it looked like! Mike Trout’s son’s cutesy walk-in is winning over the internet.
Beckham became a part of SportsLodge’s recent interview with the 33-year-old outfielder and shared who his favorite player is! Any guesses?
“Dada” was his first response to the interviewer’s question. And when asked about who stands second in the list, it was Logan O’Hoppe. Yes, the 25-year-old Los Angeles Angels’ catcher.

Well, the 4-year-old seems to be aligned with his father’s choices as Mike Trout also loves to watch O’Hoppe play. And why not!
After all, he has an impressive record at Anaheim, with an average of .236 and .244 in 2023 and 2024, respectively, along with .243 in his MLB career. An evident inspiration for a young mind like Beckham’s!
And this similarity is not limited to this one facet. They both are inclined toward Verna’s Flight Line, a restaurant.

The interview only felt more personal and appealing as Trout, the eleven-time All-Star and three-time AL MVP, shared his proud feeling of carrying out his ‘dad duties’ when Beckham’s mother is away.
With the new season almost here, Mike Trout is focused on his games, too. With his participation only in 29 games last season and an average of .222, with 109 AB and 14 RBIs, Trout is hopeful of playing the entire season this time. With good health by his side, he would look to help the Angels make it to the postseason, and we all wish the same.
The Angels come up with a unique plan to protect Trout from injury
The Los Angeles Angels do not want to take any risks as part of their strategic move to safeguard their asset, Mike Trout, from any injury. Since Trout’s 2024 season was hampered by injuries, the Angels now have something fresh to implement.

The team is looking to move Mike Trout from center field, which used to be his usual position, to right field. Not willing to compromise Trout’s longevity and durability, LA has made this decision to keep him safe and healthy.
The right field at the Angel Stadium offers a better space for playing, which could reduce the chances of any kind of strain or injury for Mike Trout. Although they might have to compromise on his base-stealing ability, this careful approach could play in favor of both Mike Trout and the Angels – less injury and more on-field time!
