Aside from being an iconic baseball player, Trout has proved himself to be an avid golfer, all while professing his love for Hollywood as a movie enthusiast. Mike’s passion for baseball precedes every other thing. But he never let a moment go by without enjoying golf or the movies of his favorite stars. Trout has always remained vocal about what he loves to do, and a good part of it includes staying immersed in the entertainment world. Having appeared in the movie, The Founder and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Trout has learned some tips and tricks for acting. Maybe that’s why, when his on-field rival, Mookie Betts, asked him to get a chance to act in an Adam Sandler movie, he jumped at the thought of it.
In one of the show segments with Betts, Trout had to answer questions from his fans. The first question being, “Would Mike be interested in starring in the next Happy Gilmore movie?” Without giving it much thought, Mike instantly said, “100%, man. I love that.
