Mike’s passion for baseball precedes every other thing. But he never let a moment go by without enjoying golf or the movies of his favorite stars. However, Mike’s fondness for Hollywood and its charm isn’t limited to watching the movies. The 10x All-Star, following his appreciation for the entertainment world, has also appeared in some movies. Hence, given a chance to act in one of the classics of his favorite star, Mike would leap over it. 

Something similar happened when, not long ago, Prince Fish sat down for an episode of On Base with Mookie Betts. Trout has many favorites in the entertainment world. But one of the top leading actors is the award-winning actor and comedian Adam Sandler.

Trout has always remained vocal about what he loves to do, and a good part of it includes staying immersed in the entertainment world. Having appeared in the movie, The Founder and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Trout has learned some tips and tricks for acting. Maybe that’s why, when his on-field rival, Mookie Betts, asked him to get a chance to act in an Adam Sandler movie, he jumped at the thought of it.

In one of the show segments with Betts, Trout had to answer questions from his fans. The first question being, “Would Mike be interested in starring in the next Happy Gilmore movie?” Without giving it much thought, Mike instantly said, “100%, man. I love that. It’s one of my favorite movies ever. Big Adam Sandler fan.” 

Not even the $426 million star Mike Trout can resist the charm of Hollywood Walk of Famer Adam Sandler. Also, the passion for baseball and golf runs parallel in Mike’s heart.

While singing praises for his favorite actor, Adam Sandler, Trout still had golf on his mind. Hence, when Mookie asked him to name the celebrity golf foursome, he did not take much time to answer. In mere seconds, he responded, Prince Fish named Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, and himself on his list. Wonder why he left his childhood idol Derek Jeter out of the list.
