Alex Rodriguez has long been a basketball fan. A New York Yankees legend, A-Rod is a well-known name in the world of baseball. Despite his tainted past, Rodriguez’s achievements in a 22-season career are massive. A 14-time All-Star as well as the 2009 World Series champion, the former shortstop is now a pro-baseballer-turned-businessman. Owner of multiple companies, A-Rod also partly owns the NBA team Minnesota Timberwolves.
Unfortunately, the T-Wolves lost to the Denver Nuggets in the playoffs. Currently, the NBA season is nearing an end as the Finals are almost upon fans. But before that came the much-anticipated series end of the Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics. And Rodriguez wants to know who people are rooting for. Since the game took place on Memorial Day, it was even more special.

A-Rod and Derek Jeter ‘jinxed’ the Miami Heat
Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez are old teammates. The two have long held a frenemy relationship status and it’s rare to see them at the same public events. But at Game 4 of the Heat vs the Celtics, both showed up to support Miami. In a move that surprised everyone, Boston won. It reminded fans of the infamous 2004 ALCS game when the Yankees lost to their archrival, the Boston Red Sox, despite having a 3-0 lead.
