Aaron Judge recently spoke about playing for the Yankees and just what it means to him.

Drafted in 2013, Aaron Judge has known no home in MLB other than Yankee Stadium. With him fast becoming a fan favorite too, his status in Yankees lore is permanent, but a ring will go a long way in cementing his legacy. And while he is definitely on the trajectory to reach that achievement, whether he will do it with the Yankees remains a question. That, however, does not indicate what Judge believes about the Yankees, as he loves the Bronx Bombers!

Aaron Judge is part of the New York Yankees core group now. Having come close to a deep post-season run several times, Judge is yet to achieve any specific honors. However, his record is secondary to him, while featuring in the New York Yankees squad in itself is a pleasure for him. Said Judge, “It means a lot to me, it’s an incredible honor.”

With the Yankees, so much is about the legacy and weight they carry with them. But Judge is all too ready to shoulder the responsibility. “Being a part of that history and wearing the same uniform is a complete honor that I never even dreamed about,” he added.

While the New York Yankees have started their season with an enviable record so far. And the season’s progress is a reward for the work they have all put in. The superstar right-fielder acknowledged the work that everyone on the roster had put in during the off-season. Said Judge, “All the training in the off-season, grinding while no one’s watching, is to enjoy those moments when you got fifty thousand people on their feet screaming and yelling.”
Setting a mantra for the Yankees’ 2022 season, Judge was looking to hone in on the process more than anything else. Stressing on the need to stay consistent through the good and the bad, he had a message for the Yankees this season. Said Judge, “Just go out there and play your game.”
