Most recently, Venezuelan pitcher Marcos Barrios shared an emotional moment with his mother after achieving his MLB dream. He broke down in tears while telling his mother that the Chicago White Sox are signing him. Baseball reporter Francys Romero shared the news via Twitter and a video of the moment.

In a Tweet, Romero said, “Venezuelan pitcher Marcos Barrios breaks down in tears with his mother after the news that he will sign with Chicago White Sox in the current international period. Baseball ⚾️.” He also mentioned that Barrios would receive a bonus deal in the range of $30,000.
