Since retiring from baseball, Alex Rodriguez has transitioned into a fine businessman. The former Yankee star is involved in a wide variety of enterprises. From real estate to sporting leagues, A-Rod has invested in it all. With this transition into baseball, Rodriguez has also been seen wearing a suit and tie more often.
Most people would see this as a good thing and appreciate the effort that A-Rod puts into his looks. But his business partner and close friend Marc Lore once showed his discontent with Rodriguez’s formal wear by enforcing his house rules.

A-Rod can be seen replying, “that’s my favorite tie” as he laughs at what Lore has done. Notably, the two are close friends and this seems to be a running joke between them. Rodriguez shared the video on Instagram and said, “Business is about winning and losing. Apparently, there are no ties, right @marclore? 👍🏼”
A-Rod and Lore are more than close friends and business partners, they even own an NBA team together. Lore and Rodriguez recently paid the second installment to buy the Minnesota Timberwolves. Since beginning the process of purchasing the team in 2021, both have been greatly involved with the team and seem excited about being owners. But many wonder how they came to be friends.
