Major League Baseball is full of talent, and another baseball season is here, jam-packed with full of entertainment and talent. Some of the current active best players in the league right now include Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout, Manny Machado, Mookie Betts, and many more. And since talent recognizes talent, the third baseman of the San Diego Padres, Manny Machado, recently compared the up-and-coming talent, Atlanta Braves star player Ronald Acuna Jr. to the legendary Ken Griffey Jr.

However, Machado’s appreciation of Acuna Jr. went terribly wrong. It was because shortly after Machado appreciated Acuna Jr., the Braves outfielder threw him out. Notably, the moment did not sit any better with fans as they blatantly roasted him for saying what he did.

Manny Machado thinks Ronald Acuna Jr. is the only player to come close to Ken Griffey Jr.

Last night, San Diego Padres went against the Atlanta Braves. During the whole game, Machado was mic’d up and hence was talking about the game and the players as well.

While talking about Acuna Jr., Machado said, “I mean, what he’s doing out there? You see the catch he made the other day? That throw he almost got Cronenworth in the second inning. Speaking about Griffey earlier, I mean this is the closest comparison we got to a player like that.”

Fast-forwarding to a few minutes later, when in the top of the fourth inning, Machado hit a single and was running to the second base; he was blowing a bubble out of the bubble gum he’d been chewing.

And before he reached, Acuna Jr. showed off his arm and threw out Manny Machado with ease. Hence, the six times All-Star started to get brutally mocked over blowing a bubble instead of running to the base at full speed and also for comparing Acuna Jr. to Ken Griffey Jr.

Machado will probably remember this moment!

It was only moments before fans on Twitter started bashing Machado for blowing a bubbleThey think the reason why he got out is that he didn’t do his job correctly.

Following are some of the fans’ reactions to Machado blowing a bubble while rounding first and apparently making a wrong comparison.

What do you think?

Meanwhile, there are a few who sided with Acuna Jr. on this one.
