New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone yells at the umpire over an unfair call

An interesting incident took place on Wednesday, involving the Yankees’ biggest nightmare of wrong calls made by the umpires for the players of more height, like Aaron Judge. The incident took place in the 8th inning when Judge was facing Blue Jays pitcher Yimi Garcia. After the first strike, everything seemed normal; but for the second pitch, Garcia threw a 95mph sinker, which was just brushing the outside corner, but the umpire called it a strike.

Aaron Boone could not control himself anymore and began shouting at the umpire for what he thought was an unfair call. Boone started walking toward the umpire as he yelled, “Make the f*cking adjustment. You just missed the same f*cking call.”

To that, the umpire questioned, “What was wrong with that pitch?” And Boone replied, “That ball is f*cking down. He’s six f*cking seven. He’s f*cking pitching around him and you’re f*cking calling strikes in the dirt.”

Aaron Boone was eventually thrown out of the game, and Aaron Judge was struck out on the next pitch. It divided fans as well as to what it was really, a strike or a wrong call by the umpire. With this defeat, the New York Yankees will return home as they host the Texas Rangers for the next three games at the Yankee Stadium in New York.
