Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez has had a progressive journey in his professional ventures that has never come to a halt. First & foremost, he established a grand reputation as a baseball legend. Post-retirement, he continued his upward journey to reign as an elite entrepreneur. Therefore, the $350 million man Rodriguez has recently presented some valuable advice to the young generation. 

When talking about his MLB career, A-Rod became a sporting sensation within a brief time after playing for the Seattle Mariners. Following on, he signed two of the most lucrative contracts in MLB history. He signed a $252 million contract with the Texas Rangers in 2000. Then later extended his stay with the New York Yankees through a $275 million contract in 2007. 

Thus, Rodriguez became a sporting royalty during his active playing span. He set up his empire by skillfully investing in his resources. The most notable of all his enterprises happen to be his namesake, ‘A-Rod Corp’, launched long back in 1995. The CEO of the billion-dollar investment firm has thus recently shared his business intellect with aspirants. 

Alex Rodriguez’s precious advice to the upcoming generation 

Post-retirement from his MLB career, Alex Rodriguez has maintained a busy schedule. Among his other duties, he remains committed to guiding society as a motivational speaker. Therefore, recently he was a guest on the Money Maze Podcast. Sharing instances of his life’s journey, Rodriguez lent out some golden words to the young generation.

Speaking at the podcast, Rodriguez said, “Find a great mentor, someone that you can learn from, that can be your boss. That can teach you as much as you are willing to take on. And then I would say from age 20 to 30, don’t even ask about salary. Obviously, you want to make sure that if you have a roommate if you have enough money to eat and have a roof over your head.”

The high-class entrepreneur added, saying, “But I am sure there are ways where you can have roommates and all this. It’s really focused about learning and surrounding yourself with the best people in the world. Because ultimately those four or five people you surround yourself with would be indicative of how your career closes when you are 75 or 80.”
