Major League Baseball, over the years, has become stricter with its policies regarding domestic violence, sexual harassment, and child abuse. Not long ago, the former Dodgers ace, Trevor Bauer, got his suspension reduced from 324 to 194. The ban was lifted after months of inquiry into sexual assault allegations against the pitcher. As a result, Bauer got reinstated immediately and now, he is eligible to return in the coming season of MLB. However, things have taken a u-turn for the Cy Young awardee.

From recent reports, the LA Dodgers have officially cut ties with the pitcher, NL Cy Young Award winner Bauer. Although the pitcher has shown his disappointment towards the team’s decision, he wished the players and team all the best for their future. Which has baseball fans giving mixed responses over the pitcher’s future.
What do the fans have to say about Trevor Bauer?
Bauer has not played since June 2021, when a San Diego woman accused him of sexual assault. The pitcher, who was not charged with a felony by a prosecutor in Los Angeles, has disputed the sexual assault claims and insisted his interactions with the lady were consensual.
Following are some of the reactions of baseball fans to the recent update on Bauer’s future.
Empty words from an abuser. Not surprised the Dodgers and their families want him as far away as possible.

@BauerOutage is surprised because he's a narcissist. Bad dude.

Thank you for doing the right thing.

Totally. Dodgers equal class. Move aside Trevor.

Did someone write this for him?? I didn’t see one dodger or players Union stand up for him at all the entire time. Some may not have spoken against him but that’s not the same as standing for him. Someone could’ve and I just missed it. 🤨

Good for Bauer…that whole organization found him guilty before he could defend himself…hope he signs with SD or SF and sees the dodgers 6 times this year and makes them pay…I know they're gonna pay him financially

Because they’ve fucking lied to him then stabbed him in the back. Wasting prime years with Mookie and Freddie… handing away players left and right with no signings. This team is a JOKE right now. A JOKE. We don’t deserve to win shit like this

such a dumb decision by the dodgers.

While they worship the ground Julio Urias walks on. Doesn’t make sense to me.
— Rob Thayer (@RobThayer_) January 7, 2023
I mean they have Urias. And are going after Chapman. Surprise seems reasonable.

While there are people who support the Dodgers’ decision, there are also people who believe Dodgers did not do the right thing with Bauers. Whereas there are a few people who think Bauer has done nothing wrong. So, some other team should sign him. Meanwhile, some of the people who sided with Bauer are also pointing out the fact that the Dodgers still have Urias on their team, who is also a rule breaker.
What happened with Julio Urias?
The cops detained Urias on May 13, 2019, for potential misdemeanor domestic assault during an incident in the Beverly Center shopping center parking lot. Prosecutors did not press charges because Urias agreed to requirements such as therapy and no repeat occurrences. As a result, he accepted a 20-game suspension under MLB’s Joint Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Child Abuse Policy.
