The New York Yankees are feeling the heat with their pitcher’s injuries

Last year, right-handed pitchers Luis Gil and Scott Effross underwent major surgeries. While Gil is set to return in the second half of this season, Effross will have to wait until next year to get back on the mound. Right-handed pitcher Frankie Montas was sidelined due to right shoulder inflammation and is expected to make his comeback in May. Lou Trivino had a right ligament sprain, but he’s set to make his return in the first week of the regular season.

Outfielder Harrison Bader was just recently diagnosed with a left oblique strain, forcing him to take a break until April. And furthermore, right-handed pitcher Tommy Kahnle is currently out due to an elbow strain and won’t be back until late April.
