Los Angeles Dodgers Superstar Freddie Freeman Shares a Special Hitting Moment With His 6-Year-Old Son

MLB stars spend most of their time away from their families during the regular season. This is due to a packed 162-game schedule that includes training, playing games, and travel, among other factors. But many of these baseball players take the time to spend precious moments with their families. One such star is none other than Los Angeles Dodgers’ Freddie Freeman. 

He has started the 2023 regular season on a great note. Freeman is batting well and has helped guide the Dodgers to a 4-2 win-loss record. But most recently, his wife shared a sweet moment that the baseball star had with his son.

Freddie Freeman is a loving father and husband. The Los Angeles Dodgers star spends quality time with his family despite the rigorous 162-game MLB schedule. Most recently, he helped his son do batting practice and threw balls at him in the batting cage. The Dodgers star’s wife, Chelsea Freeman, shared an Instagram Story highlighting the moment. This is a precious moment between Freddie and his son, Charlie Freeman. 

In the story, Chelsea said, “Charlie livin’ the dream with daddy @freddiefreeman”. The Dodgers star’s 6-year-old son may be following in his father’s footsteps. Charlie recently showed off his pitching skills as well, throwing the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Charlie. His father is in the early stages of a crucial season. 2023 is a big year for the Dodgers and their star first baseman will be needed to make a strong postseason push. Freddie is showing off his elite batting skills and ability to make contact, but one thing is missing so far.

Freeman is yet to hit a home run this season

Although Freddie Freeman has batted well to start the 2023 MLB season, he has not yet hit a home run. This is surprising considering that he has hit 20 or more in 6 of his last 7 MLB seasons. Furthermore, he has reached 20 or more homers 9 times in his career so far. Freeman is expected to break that deadlock soon and add some power-hitting to his 2023 campaign.
