Baseball can bring out both the best and worst in us. The New York Yankees may have made some brutal moves before the roster expansion in September to make room in their roster but that came at a cost. Some established stars featuring for the Pinstripes had to be either traded or waived to make room for the new crop of youngsters. So, while the new crop succeeds, the veterans are left to find their way around the league doing what they do best?playing baseball.
The Yankees were pretty ruthless in their approach. They knew they had to make a change and who they wanted to bring in. And they held back from making the changes. While waiving a player may be seen by many as a loss, the team chose to go ahead with their decision with the simple belief that this was best for them. But what of the waived players themselves?

The Reds are preparing for a post season onslaught in 2023. With a winning record so far in the NL Central, the final stretch of games will be crucial in deciding if they can actually make it to the promised land of the postseason.
Bader’s addition to the lineup is certainly a positive. With a .297 batting average to post in 184 plate appearances, the star is a utility addition that can keep the bases ticking along which is certainly a factor for the Reds this season.
While the Reds fans will certainly be happy about the star hitter joining as a part of their lineup, Bader will be hoping to make good on the promise he showed when he was drafted by the Cardinals in 2015.

Bader is a well liked figure across MLB. And while he doesn’t post numbers to rival the best in the game, his defense is certainly one of his top offerings from the outfield. Even so, fans were unhappy to see the player go.
In fact, even though largely a mixed bag of reactions, the general emotion seemed to be of wanting the star to do well no matter where he ends up.
