Baseball legend Derek Jeter, who’s living a lavish life mostly because of his tremendous career with the New York Yankees, did not have everything handed down to him his entire life. The former shortstop has worked hard to get where he is today. And that means having to endure some things which were not great at the time.

Jeter might have been born in New Jersey, but he didn’t grow up there. When he was about four years old, his family moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan. Now, when looking back at his career and the commercials that he did, one can easily say that the athlete is a huge fan of luxury cars. However, he could not afford it at the time during his younger days. Therefore, his first car had some non-functioning parts.
