He recorded career highs in innings pitched and strikeouts, among other advanced statistics. The Giants star developed into a proper ace-level pitcher for the Giants. Furthermore, he is beloved by the fans. Most recently, Webb has taken the initiative to spread awareness using a massive loss that he suffered as an example.

Logan Webb had a fantastic 2022 season with the San Francisco Giants, evolving into a bonafide ace. But just months before the season had begun, he’d suffered a huge loss. The Giants’ star pitcher lost his cousin on December 3rd, 2021. His younger cousin Kade Webb bought what he thought was a pain pill and took it. But the pill was laced with fentanyl and ended up taking Kade’s life. Logan has since dedicated himself to spreading awareness about Fentanyl and its dangers. MLB Players Media has shared the story on Twitter.

In the Tweet, MLB Players Media said, “.@SFGiants pitcher @LoganWebb1053 has a frightening story to share. He’s hoping it will save someone’s life.” They also shared a video in which Logan says, “Just the awareness, I think is the big thing for us right now. You know hopefully, reach, reach a bigger audience.”

The Giants star has truly committed himself to the cause. In his free time, he visits schools to spread awareness about the dangers that youngsters face. Fans will get to see him suit up for the Giants soon as the season gets closer. It will be interesting to see how he performs in 2023.

Logan Webb will keep working hard and trying to improve

Logan Webb will not stop working after a fantastic 2022 season. In fact, he will work hard to achieve the goals that he set out for himself in the coming years. According to NBC Sports, he said, “Overall, I thought it was decent. There were some things I wish I probably did a little bit better.”

He will be a big part of his team’s success in 2023. The Giants signed Roberto Perez and picked up a couple of pitchers. But the off-season was a bit of a disappointment. They will be depending heavily on the roster that they have minus a few key players they lost this off-season.
