That’s when he knew he was all in. When the reporter posed a question about his biggest inspiration, Jeter’s answer brought a smile to his face, as he pointed to Michael Jordan, saying, “MJ is like a big brother to me.” Jeter clearly holds the basketball legend in high regard, drawing both inspiration and personal connection from him. 

The former Yankees’ star further added, “And I have young kids and you want them to choose a career path and find someone to look up to. You want them to see someone who has been successful and, you know, you talk about Michael and what he was able to accomplish on the basketball court, but I think you look at the athlete’s post-playing career, and he is at the top. What he has been able to accomplish from a business standpoint. So he’s someone I look to and go to for advice.”
