After a rather abrupt end to his injury-plagued career in 1996, Lenny Dykstra is actively becoming a problematic Tweleb. His comments grow absurder with every passing day, but there’s evidently no stopping him.
Elon Musk took over control of Twitter in October this year. Ever since then, his actions have proved rather impulsive and arbitrary. Most recently, the $163.5 billion entrepreneur launched a poll on Twitter, which would potentially decide his future as the CEO of Twitter. Unsurprisingly, people wanted him gone.
As a result of Dykstra’s growingly strange Twitter personality, the former World Champion with the New York Mets, Lenny Dykstra responded to the rumor by suggesting a possibility of himself as the Twitter CEO, tied with a strange comparison to his steroid scandal.

Lenny Dykstra as the new CEO of Twitter, replacing Elon Musk!
At this point, rumors surrounding the world of Twitter are of Elon Musk stepping down. Be that as it may, as celebrations trumpet Twitter, the hunt for a new CEO commences. And with an amazing sense of timing and supposed humor, steroid user and three-time All-Star Lenny Dykstra reaches his Twitter handle with another comment.
For the Twitter CEO job, no drug test, right? https://t.co/VD5Jktw2Mp

While replying to a tweet of an American venture capitalist Blake Masters that spoke about the Twitter job being a “world of pain” Dykstra said, “For the Twitter CEO job, no drug test, right?”
The former outfielder draws a parallel to his steroid allegations, which were first born through the 2007 Mitchell Report. Straightaway, the former MLB slugger rejected those allegations and refused to partake in any investigational interviews to entertain the news. Eventually, though, Dykstra bluntly admitted to the use of steroids to safeguard his $25 million and probable replacement from the lineup.
Dykstra picked TV host Britt McHenry to stand at the helm of Twitter
In another tweet from two days back, the former New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies outfielder picked TV host Britt McHenry as his candidate for the next CEO of Twitter, after Musk received a 57.5% vote to step down.

So, evidently, Dykstra is caught in a pickle between himself and Britt McHenry. However, this will only happen if Elon Musk actually abides by his word, and steps down from the CEO position. Do you think Musk will resign? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
