It has been over a year since Alex Rodriguez, and Jennifer Lopez, ended their infamous relationship. The breakup might be painful for both parties, but it also did something good to A-Rod.

Yes! A-Rod had joined a fitness program and only in a few weeks, he achieved his fitness goal with sheer dedication. Notably, the former Yankee also has two daughters with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis. And he did not want to have a dad-bod (body) anymore.

Back in April 2021, A-Rod took help from a fitness professional to get his body in shape by maintaining a disciplined routine for over two months. Usually, when any athlete takes retirement, they lose their focus on maintaining their body physique. And A-Rod was no different. But an intensive 54-day fitness program helped Alex Rodriguez kick his dad-bod by focusing again on fitness.

Alex Rodriguez got his fitness back by following an extremely disciplined fitness program

Per People.com, Alex Rodriguez was desperate to get his body back in the shape. And eventually, he did so. But it took him a lot of hard work and a strict daily routine. The fitness program was for nine weeks.

After completing the task, A-Rod shared a collage on Instagram. And one can easily differentiate the changes in his body physique.

He captioned the photo, “Left the Dad-bod in 2020. Anyone else determined to stick with their fitness goals this year? I’ve been consistent with my workouts and finally put down the chips. What food is your weakness?”

Even his trainer [Rodrigo Garduno] who ran the fitness program, praised the work ethic of the former Yankee. Garduno also shared an incident when A-Rod attended a presidential program and did not miss his fitness class.

“He was always there on time, no matter how busy his day was,” said Rodrigo Garduno. “One thing that was amazing was I saw him on TV when he went to President Biden’s inauguration, and I was 100% sure that he would miss class because he was in D.C… And to my surprise, he was there in class like everybody else.”
