Unique experiences are part of a player’s life. As they roam with their team and meet different people, players often encounter weird incidents. Almost every other player has some bizarre experience to share, but not all are funny. However, after the Philadelphia Phillies Game 3 win against the Atlanta Braves, their DH shared a funny family experience of his neighbor that amused the fans. Interestingly, the encounter seemed like a prediction when the player revealed it. As if the neighbor envisioned the game result beforehand.
The Phillies winning endeavor is still continuing. They had swept away the Braves in the NLDS to qualify for the NLCS. While in the post-game interview, other players talked about serious issues, Kyle Schwarber took a different route. He shared a neighbor’s story that immediately created a wave of laughter.

After his Homer on that special night, Schwarbe went for this post-game interview. While it was a time to share game experiences or further plans, the 30-year-old slugger took a different path and talked about a humorous incident. The player revealed about his next-door neighbor, who probably doesn’t know about Schwarber living beside him. As the player revealed, “I was outside yesterday in my backyard playing with my kid, and I heard the people across the fence — I don’t know if they know that I live there, or maybe they do.”

The man is a big Phillies fan, and he was willing to come and watch the game. So, he asked his kids, “Do you want to go to the Phillies game tomorrow? It’s loud, guys hit home runs and there’s great food.” The kids also seemed to be Phillies fans, just like their father. So, they replied, “‘Yeah, that would be great!’” After the game ended, it seemed like this family had already predicted the outcome of the game a day before. The Game 3 was incredible for the Phillies, and they set a mark of 6 Home Runs. Among them, one was from Schwarber.

Weird fan encounters are common that players often face. Sometimes even teammates did awkward pranks on other teammates. One of the most bizarre ones was probably faced by Gerald Laird.
Gerald Laird got arrested during the Spring training
Sounding weird right? but that’s what happened when his teammate Jerry Hairston Jr. teamed up with another fellow to play a trick on him. They arranged for two police officers to execute their prank properly. This prank happened during spring training in 2007 when the manager of the team, Ron Washington, joined. The prank went pretty well as the two arranged officers arrested Laird for the charges of unpaid child support. They even took him to the squad car. However, then things were sorted out.
