It has been a forgetful season so far for the New York Mets. The inconsistency of one of the highest spenders in the league has added to the discomfort as they are stuck in the lower half of the NL East, 6.5 games behind the playoffs spot. But not everything has turned out badly for the Buck Showalter-led side. The signing of Kodai Senga has been fruitful for him and the team.

A team’s poor performance often leads to problems for the individual players. But with Kodai Senga, things are a little different. The Japanese star joined the Mets on a five-year contract and has done well. His performance in July further added another star to his records. As a result, fans discouraged by the team’s performances have cherished the players’ performance.

Witnessing such an enchanting performance this season, particularly in July, prompted fans to shower him with their praise.

Fans Praise Warrior Kodai Senga’s Enchanting Performance

Fans want players and teams to do well, especially when the season is on the line. The same situation is with the Mets star Kodai, who has given fans something to cheer on with his performances.

Given that the Mets have failed to do well and most signings failed to prove their worth, Kodai’s strength on the mound has made them happy.

One fan wrote, “One of few bright spots of this season is that this dude is a Met for at least another few years and only getting better.”

Others shared, “Truly, the only signing this off-season that hasn’t disappointed.” “Wow 9th. Congratulations. What an accomplishment.” “The only decent pitcher👻🍴🔵🟠🗽⚾️🍎”

Though Senga has done well, given the thin line the Mets are walking on, he would have to add more to his performances and give his best for the team.
