Kiana had lost her vision to an autoimmune disease, but she didn’t let condition stop her from achieving great things. Hence, she made history by traveling to the Netherlands and bringing home the first Bronze Medal. Also, she isn’t stopping just by this win.

This year, Kiana’s team is going to represent the USA by competing in Italy + UK w/CAF grant support. Many more wins are coming her way, inspiring others not to let their disability overcome them.

How different is Beep Baseball from regular baseball?

Considering that Beep baseball is designed for the ones who are visually impaired, the rules are somewhat different. It uses a beeping ball and audible bases to assist players in locating the ball and bases through the use of sound.

The game is normally played with two teams of six players each, and the field is smaller than a standard baseball field. The pitcher delivers a beeping ball to the batter, who must hit the ball and then sprint to one of two outfield audible bases. The batter scores a run if he or she reaches the base before the fielder can retrieve the ball and click a button on the base. Notably, the game has its own fun, making the players even more happier.
