Major League Baseball has been winning the hearts of its fans for over a century now. And it continues the tradition of doing so by coming up with a gesture every now and then. And the Toronto Blue Jays center fielder would be the latest athlete to come up with such a gesture to win hearts. 

During Blue Jays’ recent game with the Chicago White Sox, 3x Gold Glove award winner Kevin Kiermaier made a sweet gesture for a young fan sitting in the bleachers that left him star-struck. Notably, the fan was shocked by this subtle gesture.

Sometime during the game, Kiermaier came near the bleachers, removed his gloves, put them in one hand, and threw it toward a young fan with curly hair.

As soon as the young fan caught the gloves, he could not believe what had just happened, and thus, he was left shocked for a good few seconds. Meanwhile, seeing the fan shocked by this small event, the baseball player had nothing but a big smile on his face. 

Amid all of this excitement, a man, who seemed to be the fan’s father, pulled out his phone and captured his son’s emotions. The video became viral in no time.
