Per Ken Rosenthal, the Aaron Judge return timeline is a mystery!
After a month long injury recovery, the Yankees’ captain has made significant progress. Earlier this week, the Yankees captain was seen playing catch in the field. Although it was a small stride towards on-field recovery, his return timeline remains uncertain even at this point. Most recently, FOX Sports: MLB shared a video of Ken Rosenthal explaining the situation on Twitter. The discussion even revolved around Judge’s All-Star game participation.

In the video, Rosenthal said, “That is a mystery that is yet to be solved. And the Yankees have been very close to the vest on this. Perhaps because they simply don’t know. As you mentioned, he resumed baseball activities on Wednesday, but that mostly consists of playing catch. He wants to take swings, non-contact swings, but reportedly that has not happened yet. So, the timeline for his return is unclear. It seems pretty clear to me that he’s not going to be back for the All-Star game and then beyond that. So, again, it is not at all evident exactly when he is coming back.”
This trend continues as the organization refuses to provide a clear return date for Judge. As Rosenthal has pointed out, it may be because they are uncertain. Let’s look at what fans think of this latest update on Judge.
Unlike Bronx Bombers, baseball enthusiasts have their own timelines for Judge
As various media outlets report about Aaron Judge’s unclear return date, fans’ reactions have been divided. But a lot of fans have had a negative outlook on the situation. Some fans have lost hope for his return. Other have shared their own timelines for the Judge’s return.
I'll be shocked if it's before August. Sept wouldn't surprise me….
They have a pretty good idea when it will be and won't say. Don't wanna hurt future ticket sales…
