Alex Rodriguez played MLB for 22 years. Most baseball fans remember him for his time with the New York Yankees. He played most of his career in the Bronx and won his only World Series title with the Yankees. But he started out with the Seattle Mariners and with them he developed into one of the League’s best young stars.
He also became a perennial MVP candidate in Seattle but never won awards. Recently, he was taken back to his Seattle days while reuniting with a former Mariners teammate he’s known since 2000.

Alex Rodriguez reunited with former Seattle Mariners teammate Kazuhiro Sasaki at the World Baseball Classic
Alex Rodriguez is working as an MLB analyst for Fox Sports. He recently covered the semifinals between Japan and Mexico, during which he reunited with a former Seattle Mariners teammate. This teammate is none other than retired Japanese pitcher Kazuhiro Sasaki. A-Rod met Sasaki in 2000, the one year they spent together as teammates. Rodriguez shared an Instagram Story, with pictures of him and Sasaki. They included a collage of pictures, one from the past, one from earlier this year, and from the WBC semifinal.
In the Story, Rodriguez said, “How it started… 2000”, “How it’s going… 2023”, and “Reunited with my teammate – Kaz Sasaki.” This is a wholesome reunion as Rodriguez meets a former teammate he’s known since the year 2000. Sasaki was present at the WBC to cheer on his home team, Japan, as they faced Mexico. He was able to witness a true spectacle as Japan pulled off a spectacular comeback win.

This sets up a clash of the titans in the WBC finals as Team USA faces Samurai Japan. Rodriguez has been enjoying his work as an MLB analyst since retiring from playing baseball. For fans of the former third-baseman, this will not be the only time they see A-Rod on TV.
A-Rod will be working as an analyst for the 2023 MLB regular season
Alex Rodriguez has provided baseball fans with top-of-the-line IQ and knowledge as an MLB analyst. He will be a regular fixture with Fox Sports and is going to be commentating for the 2023 regular season. This was a nice transition for one of the game’s best-ever players, sharing his experience with followers worldwide.
