The New York Yankees have made a flying start to the 2022 season. With a 16-6 record so far, the Yankees are sitting pretty atop the AL East. And with a nine-game win streak, they are in top form as they head into a tough series. Taking on division rivals, the Toronto Blue Jays, the pressure is on. And with star player Aaron Judge getting back some of his offensive form, fans will be excited to see how the Yankees capitalize on it. Judge, however, was of the opinion that even though his output had improved, the process still left some details wanting.

Aaron Judge has hit a purple patch early in the season. With the right fielder clobbering 2 home runs and 3 RBIs in the last game against the Kansas City Royals, fans are bound to get excited. But Judge delivered a reality check immediately after the game. He had previously expressed some concerns with his bat swing and, like any premier performer, his focus on the process.
Aaron Judge speaks on his swing dynamic
Speaking as to whether he had any concerns with his swing still persisting, Judge confirmed that he was still not happy. Said Judge, “Same spot, you know. Struck out two times on some bad swings. But you know guys around picked us up.”

With the combined team performance, Judge was confident of his team, as the season progressed.“With this offense, just give it time man,” said Judge, “especially guys up and down the lineup, they’re doing their work and just having some quality at-bats for sure.”

Looking to take on the Toronto Blue Jays and continue their winning streak, the Yankees will be looking ahead hopeful of results. And Judge believes they’ve discovered the secret sauce. It’s about the basics. Said Judge, “If we stay consistent, you know, consistent at-bats, consistent defense, don’t give anybody any extra outs, we’ll be in a good spot every series.”
